"You Sexy Thing" is a song recorded by the United Kingdom|UK band (music)|group, Hot Chocolate (band)|Hot Chocolate. It was songwriter|written by Hot Chocolate lead singer Errol Brown, and record producer|produced by Mickie Most. It reached number 2 in the UK Singles Chart in 1975 in music|1975, and number 3 in the Billboard Hot 100|U.S. Pop charts a year later.

The song was originally a 1975 A-side and B-side|B-side. Not convinced that the song was a chart-topper|hit, producer Most put it on the A-side and B-side|flip of the Hot Chocolate Gramophone record|45rpm single "Blue Night". The song was remixed at a later date by Most, who re-released it as an A-side and B-side|A-side some months later on his RAK Records|RAK record label|label. The song was a massive hit.

At the time the song was written, there were some that thought the song should be banned or restricted, due to the relatively (for the time) frank exposition of the singer's praise and thanks for a woman who is willing to make love to him, as in the following lyrics from the song{{Fact|date=July 2007:
