''An Introduction'' is the debut EP from Brisbane band, The Paper and the Plane. It was released on March 15, 2007 with the support of Starving Kids Records. Eleven months after it's release, the band had sold nearly all of the 1000 copies pressed.<ref name="Rave Magazine">{{cite web|url=http://www.ravemagazine.com.au/content/view/9155/30/|title=Rave Magazine - The Paper & the Plane|work=Rave Magazine|accessdate=2008-13-07</ref> It was mixed by Greg Ibbotson, one of the band's guitarists.
