Bad Brains
 Bad Brains is an American hardcore punk band formed in Washington, D.C. in 1977. Originally formed as a jazz fusion ensemble under the name Mind Power, Bad Brains developed a very fast and intense punk rock sound, which was both musically complex, and was often played faster and more emphatically than the music of many of their peers. They were also an adept reggae band, in a sort of The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde|Jekyll-and-Hyde arrangement, while later recordings featured elements of heavy metal music|heavy metal and funk. Bad Brains are also notable as religious followers of the Rastafari movement.

O cultuadíssimo quarteto americano Bad Brains finalmente se apresentará no país! Como a apresentação até o momento é tida como única, não marque bobeira e garanta já seu ingresso. O grupo surgiu no fim dos anos 70 em Washington D.C e serviu como inspiração para grupos cultuados como Minor Threat, Beastie Boys e Fugazi, para ficar em poucos exemplos. Além disso, causaram impacto por ser um grupo hardcore formado apenas por negros. O ingresso custará cem reais e para estudantes cinquenta reais.

Um "detalhe": quem comanda os vocais neste show é Israel Josefh, que gravou o álbum [album artist=Bad Brains]Rise. O vocalista original, HR, terá compromissos solo em outros lugares, segundo indica seu my space. Por outro lado, fontes seguras – e vídeos no my space – mostram que HR já não tem a energia de outrora a frente do Bad Brains. A formação que virá no Brasil é: Dr. Know e Darryl Jenifer, guitarrista e baixista originais, Chuck Treece, na bateria, que já tocou com o Bad Brains anteriormente e é um dos fundadores do grupo skate rock McRad, além de Israel Joseph.
