Carly Simon

Carly Elisabeth Simon (born June 25, 1945) is an United States|American singer/songwriter and musician. She is also an Academy Award, a Golden Globe and two-time Grammy Award|Grammy Award winner. Simon was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1994.

Early career
Simon's father was Richard L. Simon (co-founder of Simon & Schuster, Inc.), a pianist who often played Frédéric Chopin|Chopin and Ludwig van Beethoven|Beethoven at home.
