 Charles Aznavour (Armenian language|Armenian: Շառլ Ազնավուր; born ''Shahnourh Varinag Aznavourian'', Շահնուր Վաղինակ Ազնավուրյան, May 22, 1924) is an Armenian-France|French singer, songwriter, actor and public activist. Besides being one of France's most popular and enduring singers, he is also one of the most well-known singers in the world. He is known for his characteristic short figure and unique tenor voice; clear and ringing in its upper reaches, with gravely and soulful low notes. He has appeared in more than 60 movies, composed about 1000 songs (including 150 in English, 100 in Italian, 70 in Spanish, and 50 in German), and sold well over 100 million records.<ref>{{cite news

Charles Aznavour faz turnê pelo Brasil em abril

SÃO PAULO - Aclamado como o último dos 'chansonieres' franceses, Charles Aznavour, de 83 anos, está se despedindo dos palcos. Iniciada pelos Estados Unidos, Canadá, Ásia e Europa, a turnê de despedida do músico já tem três apresentações confirmadas no Brasil: dia 17 de abril no Centro de Convenções do Anhembi, em São Paulo; 20 de abril no Teatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro, e 29 de abril no Teatro do Sesi, em Porto Alegre. Batizada de "Farewell tour", a viagem musical inclui clássicos como "She", "La bohême", "Que c'est triste Venise" e "Les émigrants".

O destaque na equipe de 28 profissionais trazida por Aznavour, entre músicos e pessoal de produção, é sua filha Kátia, que emenda um dueto afinado com ele na canção "Je voyage". A mesma Poladian Produções, responsável pela parte brasileira da turnê, cuidará de sua passagem por Argentina, Chile, Uruguai, Peru, Colômbia, Venezuela, República Dominicana, Porto Rico, México e Cuba.
