Cross Canadian Ragweed
 Cross Canadian Ragweed is an United States|American country music quartet. The band's name comes from three of the members' last names: Grady Cross, Cody Canada, and Randy Ragsdale. Jeremy Plato is the band's fourth member.

After forming in Yukon, Oklahoma, they moved to the College Town|college town of Stillwater, Oklahoma, where acts like Mike McClure's The Great Divide (band)|The Great Divide and singer-songwriter Jimmy LaFave had established enough of a local scene to earn Stillwater the nickname "North Austin".{{Fact|date=March 2008

The group had already received significant college radio airplay (song)|airplay before it released its first album, ''Carney (album)|Carney'' in 1998. They soon released ''Live and Loud at the Wormy Dog Saloon'' in 1999 and ''Highway 377 (album)|Highway 377'' in 2001, all on their own independent label Underground Sound.

With the release of a self-titled album also known as "the purple album" due to its cover color, which is a tribute to the band's "little sister" Mandi Ragsdale who had recently died in an auto accident {{Fact|date=March 2008, the band moved into the mainstream eye. Their 2004 offering "Soul Gravy" debuted at #4 on the Billboard charts.

In October 2005, the band released their album ''Garage (album)|Garage'', which featured the single "Fightin' For."

SUMMERFEST 2008, June 26th - July 6th!

Summerfest is an annual, 11 day music festival located on the shore of Lake Michigan at the Henry W. Meier Summerfest Grounds in Milwaukee, WI. The Fest features one headliner at the Marcus Amphitheater in addition to the many national and regional live acts featured throughout the festival grounds. Admission to the fest is $15 each day and includes access to acts on many different stages. Each night's headliner plays at the Marcus Amphitheater for an additional cost (this cost does include admission to the regular festival).
