Roberts made her acting debut at the age of nine in the film ''Blow (film)|Blow'' and is known for her role as the lead character in the Nickelodeon (TV channel)|Nickelodeon television series ''Unfabulous'', as well as her roles in the films ''Aquamarine (film)|Aquamarine'' and ''Nancy Drew (2007 film)|Nancy Drew''.
Roberts' debut album, ''Unfabulous and More'', was released in 2005.
