Gangsta Boo, also known as Lady Boo, was born on August 7, 1979. Born and raised from Memphis, Tennessee. She was a member of the Memphis, Tennessee-based hip hop music|rap group Three 6 Mafia's Hypnotize Mindz.

She was the sole female member of the group, which she left after the release of the album ''When the Smoke Clears|When the Smoke Clears: Sixty-6, Sixty-1''. She left them because lack of monetary and she was saved. Her first album was "Enquiring Minds" in 1998. Second album "Both Worlds *69" came after in 2001. Third album "Enquiring Minds Vol.2: Soap Opera in 2003. Now in 2008 her new album called "Forever Gangsta" will be coming out soon in late summer or early fall. She also has 3 mixtapes "Street Ringers", "Gangsta Rock", and "The Memphis Queen Is Back".
