 Joshua Radin is an acoustic-alternative singer/songwriter.

A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Radin began his artistic pursuits at an early age with art, acting and music. Radin graduated from Northwestern University in 1996. When his close friend, actor/filmmaker Zach Braff, heard a demo of Radin's song "Winter," he was immediately interested and featured the song on his show ''Scrubs (TV series)|Scrubs'' in the episode "My Screw Up". The song received an overwhelmingly positive response and gave Radin substantial exposure with the show's demographic. The songs "Today", "Closer", "Don't Look Away" and "These Photographs" were also used on the show. Braff also played the triangle in Radin's song "Today".

Since then, Radin's songs have been featured on the Fox Broadcasting Company|FOX television drama ''North Shore (TV series)|North Shore'', and the American Broadcasting Company|ABC medical drama ''Grey's Anatomy''. His song "Star Mile" is on ''The Last Kiss'' movie soundtrack. His song "What If You" was featured on soundtrack to the movie ''Catch and Release (film)|Catch and Release''. Most recently, his song "The One You Knew" was featured in an episode of ABC's ''Eli Stone''.

Inspired by the singer/songwriter communal vibe of Hollywood, CA's 200-capacity Hotel Cafe, a coffee shop-turned-venue for which the tour is named, this 35-date tour features rotating performances from several top-notch national artists, with a half-dozen or so on each show. This night features piano/folk/pop from Ingrid Michaelson; acoustic folk rock from Joshua Radin; emotive and expansive pop/rock from Cary Brothers; intelligent, melodic pop/rock from former Semisonic frontman Dan Wilson; and pretty, folky indie-pop from Meiko. A permanent traveling house band will back the performers as they play two 15-20 minute sets each. Past tours have included surprise performances in various cities by artists such as Weezer, John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Amos Lee, Death Cab for Cutie and KT Tunstall -- so who knows what will happen?
