Jump5 was an United States|American dance-pop/contemporary Christian group. Jump5 established themselves in 1999, later signing onto Sparrow Records in 2001. However, they left the company in 2005 due to creative differences. Jump5 temporarily recorded independently through self-established Nevaeh Records, and then signed with Slanted Records.
Jump5 officially disbanded on Sunday, December 16, 2007. They performed their final concert at the Rocketown Center in Nashville, Tennessee; performing with former member Libby Hodges.
History
Jump5 originally was named Jump Start, but they later changed it due to restrictions on the name ("JumpStart" is currently a daily comic). Jump5 launched their very first album in 2001. Jump5 aired on Radio Disney several times and had hit Radio Disney's Top 10 several times.
Contrary to the group's name, there were only four members at the time:

* Brandon Hargest (born March 17, 1987)
* Brittany Hargest (born August 2, 1988)
* Lesley Moore (born October 15, 1986)
* Libby Hodges (born April 2, 1987) was part of the original Jump5, but left in early 2004 to go back to a normal life. She did a song with Jump5 for their last album, Hello & Goodbye
* Natasha Noack (born December 23, 1985) was a temporary Jump5 member for the Spring in 2004 while filling in for Libb... read all
