Khia Chambers, born Khia Shamone Finch, (better known as Khia pronounced 'Kye-Ah'), is an United States|American rapping|rapper, songwriter, and record producer.
She is probably best know for her hit "My Neck, My Back (Lick It)", which became a Top 5 in the UK and pushed her album to Gold selling status in the US.
Currently, Khia writes an advice column called "Tough Love" in the magazine [http://www.everythinghood.com/index2.html Hood].
Early life
Khia was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania<ref name="myspace">{{cite web |author=Khia| url=http://www.myspace.com/khia| title=Khia's MySpace profile |accessdate=2008-05-21 </ref> but later moved to Tampa, Florida|Tampa, Florida.<ref name="myspace"/> She first wanted to be a musical performer in her early years while attending school talent shows and taking part in parades. After studying tap dance and bartender|bartending in a Tampa Bay hot spot, she became acquainted with several disc jockey|DJs and producers from the area which led her to getting a record deal. Her mother met an untimely death in 2000 from kidney failure.
