The Mad Caddies (or the Caddies) are a third wave ska Music group|band from Solvang, California. The band formed in 1995 in music|1995 and has released five full-length albums, one live album, and two Extended play|EP's. The Mad Caddies sound has influences from broad ranging genres including ska, Punk rock|punk, Hardcore punk|hardcore, Swing music|swing, pop punk, reggae, dixieland|jazz, Spanish music|Spanish, polka, even rockabilly ("Crew Cut Chuck") and pirate shanties ("Weird Beard").

History
Founding members Chuck Robertson, Sascha Lazor, Todd Rosenberg (musician)|Todd Rosenberg, Carter Benson and James Malis started the group in high school but the band's membership has changed frequently since its inception. Drummer Todd Rosenberg left the band in 1999, Benson left the band in 2002 in music|2002, and bassist Mark Iversen left the band in 2006 in music|2006. The current lineup consists of:
*Chuck Robertson (lead vocals/rhythm guitar/Lyrics|primary lyricist)
*Sascha Lazor (lead guitar/banjo/composer|primary composer),
*Keith Douglas (trumpet/Backing vocalist|backing vocals)
*Ed Hernandez (trombone)
*Brian Flenniken (Drum kit|drums/Percussion instrument|percussion),
*Cris Badham (bass guitar).
