Biography
Career
Prior to the creation of the band Slaughter, Mark Slaughter was the Lead vocalist|lead singer in the group Vinnie Vincent Invasion.<ref name=capitol>{{cite web|url=http://www.knac.com/article.asp?ArticleID=2045|title=Capitol Records To Reissue Vinnie Vincent Invasion and Slaughter Albums |last=Jones|first=Sefany |date=2003-05-16|publisher=knac.com|accessdate=2008-05-08</ref> Vinnie Vincent Invasion had a number one hit song{{fact|date=July 2008 "Love Kills", that appeared on the ''Nightmare on Elm Street 4'' movie soundtrack in 1988. After the group disbanded in the late 1980s, Slaughter, along with fellow Vinnie Vincent Invasion alumnus Dana Strum, formed the group Slaughter.<ref name=capitol />
