Biography
Randy Rogers was born in Cleburne, Texas. When he was six years old, he learned to play the piano from his great-grandmother, and later learned to play the guitar;<ref name="allmusic"/> he wrote his first song at age thirteen.<ref>{{cite web |url=http://www.thisistexasmusic.com/profiles/randyrogersband.html |title=Randy Rogers Band profile |accessdate=2007-08-27 |format=html |work=ThisIsTexasMusic.com</ref> Later, Randy joined a backing band, before deciding to form his own band.
