History
Formation (1993-2002)
Simple Plan began in 1993 with the formation of a band named Reset (band)| Reset by friends Pierre Bouvier, Chuck Comeau|Charles-AndrÃ© "Chuck" Comeau, Philippe Jolicoeur, and Adrian White.<ref name="Reset Biography">[http://www.simpleplan.cz/reset.htm Reset Biography]</ref> Reset toured around Canada with bands such as MxPx, Ten Foot Pole, and Face to Face, but only managed to gain modest popularity.<ref name="Simple Plan Biography">[http://www.starpulse.com/Music/Simple_Plan/Biography/ Simple Plan Biography]</ref> The debut album, ''No Worries'', was released in 1998, and Comeau left soon after to go to college.<ref name="Reset Biography"/> Two years later he met with high school friends Jean-FranÃ§ois "Jeff" Stinco and SÃ©bastien Lefebvre who were in separate bands of their own, and combined to create the band.<ref name="Reset Biography"/> Meanwhile, Reset released a second CD, No Limits (Reset alb... read all

Location: Tübingen, Germany MTV lädt zum achten Mal zur Campus Invasion. Alle Studis, die dringend eine Auszeit von Hörsaal und Bibliothek benötigen, holt MTV ins Freie und verwandelt die Unis in Kiel, Jena und Tübingen in ein riesiges Festivalgelände. Mit Clueso & Band konnte MTV außerdem einen der vielversprechendsten deutschen Künstler für die diesjährige Campus Invasion gewinnen. Das Line-Up für die jeweiligen Städte und weitere Acts werden in Kürze von MTV bekannt gegeben. Die Tübinger Studentenschaft freut sich ganz besonders auf das MTV-Event: Schon in den vergangenen Jahren haben sich die Studierenden dafür stark gemacht, das Campus-Festival in die Stadt mit dem niedrigsten Altersdurchschnitt Deutschlands zu holen. Seit der ersten MTV Campus Invasion im Jahre 2001 hat MTV mit knapp 200.000 Studenten gerockt. Im letzten Jahr boten Marburg, Freiburg und Magdeburg ein hochkarätiges Staraufgebot mit Mando Diao, Maximo Park, Jan Delay & Disko Nr. 1 und Wir sind Helden.
