Stayve Jerome Thomas (born September 8, 1980 in Houston, Texas) better known by his stage name Slim Thug, is an United States|American rapper. He is also the founding member of the group Boss Hogg Outlawz. He has one son named Bryan Dale Frailey who now resides in Alabama. Just recently, due to his album constantly being pushed back, and a lack of communication from Geffen Records, he asked to be released from the label, and go back to his independent roots. Chicago rapper Lupe Fiasco revealed in an interview with Tim Westwood that the character for his song Hip Hop Saved My Life was inspired by Slim Thug.
