Strung Out is a punk music|punk rock band from Simi Valley, California, United States|USA formed in 1992. They are known mainly for their musical style, which fuses aspects of punk rock and heavy metal to form their primary sound. They have released seven albums on Fat Wreck Chords and appeared on numerous compilations and skate/surf videos. They have played on the Warped Tour and continue to tour internationally.

Biography

The band formed in 1992 in Simi Valley, California. The original lineup consisted of vocalist Jason Cruz, guitarists Jake Kiley and Rob Ramos, bassist Jim Cherry and drummer Adam Austin. After releasing a self-titled 7" record, they became one of the first bands to be signed to Fat Wreck Chords, the record label owned and operated by Fat Mike of the band NOFX. Austin left the band in 1992 and was replaced by Brad Morrison who also left the band and was replaced on drums by Jordan Burns, formerly of fellow Simi Valley natives Ten Foot Pole. Their first album, ''Another Day in Paradise (Strung Out album)|Another Day in Paradise'', was released in May of 1994. ''Suburban Teenage Wasteland Blues'' followed in 1996. In 1998 they released ''The Skinny Years...Before We Got Fat'', a compilation album of their pre-Fat Wreck Chords material.

Location: Zijlsingel 2, 2013 DN Haarlem, Netherlands IGNITE Orange Country’s Ignite komt de boel op zijn kop zetten in Patronaat. Er is geen enkele hardcore band die zo’n gevarieerd publiek, bestaande uit metalheads, hardcore kids, punkers en alternatieve rockers kan vermaken. Instrumentaal zet Ignite een ondergrond neer van punk, hardcore, metal en rock. Zanger Zoli Teglas zingt uit volle borst over deze solide basis met zijn prachtige melodieuze stem en zijn scherp sociaal kritische teksten. Door deze combinatie weet Ignite zichzelf te onderscheiden van alles wat ook maar enigszins in de buurt komt! TERROR Hardcore zoals hardcore ooit bedoelt was, gebracht door een van de meest toegewijde hardcore bands in de huidige scene. Lyrics die recht uit het hart van leadzanger Scott Vogel komen, worden ondersteund door agressieve gitaarriffs en een groovende ritmesectie. De sound van Terror is te omschrijven als Old School Hardcore met een flinke dosis NYHC invloeden. Nummers als ‘One With The Underdogs’, ‘Push It Away’ en ‘Always The Hard Way’ slaan als een mokerslag in je gezicht. Wie Terror ooit eerder heeft gezien, weet dat een optreden van Terror garant staat voor een energieke, harde live-show vol interactie met het publiek en een dampende moshpit. STRUNG OUT Punkrock uit Californië! Maar dat niet alleen, ook hardcore en metal invloeden worden niet geschuwd en zijn duidelijk terug te horen in de technische skatepunk die de vijfmansformatie voortbrengt. Strung Out is één van de eerste bands die getekend werd door Fat Wreck Chords, het record label van NOFX frontman Fat Mike. Anno 2008 heeft de band maarliefst negen releases op haar naam staan en meer dan dertien succesvolle wereld tours afgerond. Met hun laatste album ‘Blackhawks Over Los Angeles’ bewijzen de heren dat punk nog lang niet dood is.

Location: Siegburger Straße 110, 50679 Köln, Germany Mit melodischem Hardcore und aussagekräftigen Texten kamen Ignite bereits vor 10 Jahren aus Orange County, um die internationale Harcore-Szene aufzumischen. Ihre drei erfolgreichen Alben „Call On My Brothers“, „Past Our Means“ und „A Place Called Home“ brachten ihnen eine enorme Fangemeinde ein, die ihnen auch die 6 Jahre Pause bis zum aktuellen Album „Our Darkest Days“ nicht anlasteten und der Band die notwendige Unterstützung zukommen ließ. Das liegt unter anderem auch an ihren Tourneen, die sich meist über den kompletten Globus erstrecken. Vor allem die einprägsame Stimme von Sänger Zoli Teglas und der druckvolle, melodische Punk-Hardcore sind die elementaren Bausteine ihrer Musik, die eine extrem kraftvolle und eingängige Kombination ergeben.
