Suburban Legends
 Suburban Legends are a seven piece Pop music|pop/funk/third wave ska band from Orange County, California.

History
Suburban Legends' music is different from that of other ska bands, taking influence from ska as well as disco, funk, and pop music|pop, with more emphasis on the disco/funk sound in recent recordings, with little to no ska sound at all (with the exception of the recently introduced live-only "Girl's Got What I Want"), although the band does regularly perform older material alongside their current work, even adding older songs back into rotation, such as "All the Nights", a song from ''Rump Shaker (album)|Rump Shaker'' that the band began performing again in late 2007 after a few years without being heard. Live shows involve synchronized dance moves performed by horn players (sometimes joined by the lead singer) as well as humorous banter between members. The band was formed in 1998 as The No Tones but the name later changed to the Bomb Squad due to line-up changes, eventually becoming Suburban Legends. Their first album, ''Origin Edition'' was released in 1999 as a fun demo to sell at shows. Shortly after its release, lead singer Tim Maurer left the group and was replaced by Chris Batstone on vocals.     SUMMERFEST 2008, June 26th - July 6th!

    Summerfest is an annual, 11 day music festival located on the shore of Lake Michigan at the Henry W. Meier Summerfest Grounds in Milwaukee, WI. The Fest features one headliner at the Marcus Amphitheater in addition to the many national and regional live acts featured throughout the festival grounds. Admission to the fest is $15 each day and includes access to acts on many different stages. Each night's headliner plays at the Marcus Amphitheater for an additional cost (this cost does include admission to the regular festival).
