 Sum 41 is a Canadian Rock music|rock Musical ensemble|band from Ajax, Ontario.<ref>{{cite news | title=Juno Awards 2003 | url =http://ottawastart.com/juno.php | accessdate = 2008-08-17</ref> The current members are Deryck Whibley (singer|lead vocals, guitar, keyboard instrument|keyboards), Cone McCaslin (bass guitar, backing vocalist|backing vocals), and Steve Jocz (drum kit|drums, percussion instrument|percussion, and backing vocals). The band's "classic" line-up is the same, except with Dave Baksh on lead guitar and backing vocals.

In 1999, the band signed an international record deal with Island Records. Since then, the band has released four studio albums.
