Sylvie Vartan (born on August 151944 near Sofia, Bulgaria) is a France|French pop singer.

Sylvie Vartan was one of the first rock'n'roll|rock girls in France. She was the most productive and active artist of the yé-yé genre.<ref name=yeye/> Her performance often featured elaborate show-dance choreography.<ref name="yeye">{{cite web | title = Sylvie Vartan | publisher = The Ye-Ye Girls site | url = http://members.tripod.com/ye_ye_girls/artists/vartan_01.html | accessdate = 2007-11-22 </ref> She made appearances on French and Italian TV, including the songs "Cette lettre-là" and "Irresistiblement".
