Tynisha Keli (pronounced Tih-NEE-sha Kel-LEE) (born Tynisha Keli Soares on July 28, 1985 in New Bedford, Massachusetts) is an Rhythm & Blues|R&B/Pop music|Pop artist.

Life and career
Early life
Keli came from a very poverty stricken home and struggled most of her life. Her mother left to raise 4 children in the port town of New Bedford, Mass.<ref>http://blog.drjays.com/index.php/summer-sensations-2008/tynisha-keli/</ref>

Early career
In 1999, Keli met Scott Ross â€” a former member of the platinum hip-hop group Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch â€” who taught her how to perform and work a crowd. She then caught a break when she moved out to Los Angeles a year later and landed a spot in a pop girl group Gyrlz Society, which was signed to MCA Records. The group was disbanded before dropping their debut album.
